Got a selection of GOOD STEALS on sale, stranger! (Part 1)

Then how do you know Steam doesn’t know you at all? How do you know they don’t actually know you better than you do yourself? Accept that you are Hunie Pop’s target audience.

My discovery queue was literally 12 games culled from the top 20 games from the top sellers list. Hunie Pop would’ve been a welcome surprise in a sea of GTA V and BLOPS 3.

ADVISE:

  1. Buy Rivals of Aether, be bad at it
  2. Play Smash 4 again, buy characters and be bad at it
  3. Buy beer and be bad at Brawlhalla

Necrodancer’s $5. y’all should get that.

Also so is Tobari, which I worked on, which is also the source of rolling ball bunny.

“Buy beer” is the answer to every Steam sale question.

I bought dungeon of the endless for some reason. Friend wants to play it together.

it doesn’t hold up to repeat playthroughs or deep strategy very well, but it sure is pretty

Ah well, that’s something. I rarely put more than a few hours into multiplayer anything. So far the only positive result of my purchase has been opening a wine bug about the audio not working.

Got Divinity OS looking forward to co-oping that sunnofabeech.

hey, they got that guy out on Linux! I already played it in wine last year and it was one of my absolute favourites (best combat in years), but nice to see they finally made good on that kickstarter.

should I buy INVISIBLE INC and/or UNDERTALE at these DISCOUNTED HOLIDAY PRICES or should I realize that I’ll probably play neither and move on with my life

invisible inc is really good. I still find it tough to love for how fucking tight it is. it’s more of a puzzle game than turn-based strategy, honestly, but it’s also one of the only such games that really distinguishes itself from new-XCom.

undertale is definitely worth it. its boosters are often as annoying as its detractors but it’s quite good. or, even if you hate it, you can get some good the troops out of it.

Oh hey… I started a game deals blog about a week ago. I guess maybe bookmark it if you’re into buying weird physical games you probably won’t find time to play.

Amazon has “The Art of Dead Space” for $14 right now. Normal price is $22 to $26.

It’s a nice 190-page hardcover book. If you like that sort of thing.

Looking through it makes me want to give Dead Space 3 another try. I kind of abandoned it early on because it didn’t seem as good as the other two.

“The Art of Alien: Isolation” has similarly dropped in price. That’s a game I have not yet played, though.

There’s a Castlevania one, too. I know nothing about this because I don’t play 3D Castlevania games.

is it sad that this is why I play most games I play these days

in the week that has passed since I learned of the existence of undertale I’ve seen plenty to like and plenty to not like, which means that, yeah, I’ll probably get that one at least.

Uh oh

Those are my top-two Games of The Year, for whatever that’s worth.

I went to go buy Ark of Napishtim and found out I already bought it over Thanksgiving

This is the best Christmas ever

Yeah I got hacked months ago but this is a fresh install. Google cleared it weeks ago, not sure why your antivirus is a jerk but I submitted the site for re-evaluation.

Wait, was the troops involved in Undertale in any way? Or do you mean the game has a “the troops” tone in its general philosophy?
