Also supposedly that half the time when you uninstall a game or get errors on installation it doesn’t actually get deleted from your hard drive and it’s difficult to impossible to get that hard drive space back without a full hard drive reformat and a reinstall of Windows.
Pretty good deal though.

you can boot into another OS (Linux), make yourself owner of the drive and delete stuff Windows won’t let you
fixing the Xbox app and the Windows Store is very simple, all you have to do is find an obscure console command on an MS support page, execute it in cmd or Powershell and then hope it works

One of my favorite 3DS games, Severed, is both on Switch (I didn’t know it had been ported! Not sure how good the port is, either!) and it’s under $4 which I feel like is definitely in “roll the dice on it” territory.

Everyone who likes games should try playing this game imo. Not necessarily beating it, unless it grabs you. But it’s the epitome of EURO in so many ways, it’s impossible not to find it interesting

not aware of anything recently - they posted some very bad tweets and cyberpunk had some very prominent transphobic bs iirc.
i also don’t think the people who posted the bad tweets faced any consequences, so it seems like they just hired sucky people and will continue to pay them
but i refuse to actually research this because i’m having a good day so this is just off the top of my head. i will continue to claim free games from gog because why not
