ooh Detention and The Cat Lady, those are my favorite 2D indie horror games I think. Big recommendations, they feel very similar to each other.

The lost crown is great if you love the idea of ponderously endless euro adventure, and that isn’t sarcasm. I think 90% of folks on this forum would hate it but the last ten percent may well love it.
Darkfall Lost Souls is the weakest Darkfall game but I still like it a lot. Very worth playing if you like adventure games. Every Darkfall game is mostly great to good.

I found it painfully dull and boring, not to put you off, but if you’re on the fence I’m pretty damn sure you could find a better game with minimal digging.

Yeah, it’s short, it has some good ideas, the writing is mostly mediocre, as is the combat. Worth checking out to see those good ideas, not worth finishing
