So I took a quick glance through this new bundle and there is a pretty significant overlap between what is in this bundle and what was in last year’s racial justice bundle. In terms of ā€œbigā€ games I don’t know that I saw any exclusive to this new one beyond Mini Metro, so in terms of a pure value if you already purchased last year’s this one is if I’m completely honest significantly reduced.

I’m still buying it (fuck apartheid) and would recommend others doing the same, but I’d rather people know what they are getting. Also if you missed that last one maybe don’t make the same mistake again this year >_>

Note that unlike last year’s bundle, all the games are added to your library immediately (rather than being able to browse later and just add the ones you want). Not a big issue to me as I’ve already been using Collections to stay organized but it could make the library basically unusable for some. EDIT: This was fixed.

I noticed several Draknek games in the bundle this time (Cosmic Express, Snowman is Hard to Build, and Sokobond) but haven’t looked closely yet.

that makes sense, i know there are a couple of new things just because i missed the window on submitting to last year’s bundle but don’t know if 2021 was much of a banner year for new things coming out

Mixolumia is the one addition I’m pretty stoked about. But at this point I think I own every game on Itch three times lol

I put in a different game than I did in the last bundle (but I’m uploading an improved version tomorrow on the off chance anyone wants to play it)

I’ll see what I can do about making a new spreadsheet that only has the new games. Last bundle, I started with someone else’s spreadsheet since I have no idea how to export this stuff, but once someone does that (hopefully they will) I can compare the new one with the existing one.

Y’know, just in case you needed another massive project to spontaneously appear in your life.

As someone that met the creator at a Saizeriya game is cool.

This was the other big resource I used for last year’s bundle and it now includes this years games as well, although for every game included twice it uses the current date as opposed to the original one so rather detecting just the new games it just detects the ones exclusive to the last one.

My decision is that I am going to finish up my deep dive of the original bundle before even looking deeply through this one (I purchased it already), and will then just play a few of those games every so often in between playing other things. That means it’ll likely take a decade to get through it as opposed to the 14-15 months the last one will likely take, but hey who knows maybe another plague will descend upon the world and give me a year’s worth of free time to try and fill.

Basically if there is a spread sheet for the new one I will make use of it but it is probably less urgent this go around. Also not removing the duplicate games or heck just combining them both into one ginormous spreadsheet is fine, don’t go nuts if it is hard to figure out just the new games.

I did notice after the fact all the Draknek games included and they are high quality new entries.

There are a few games where natural follow-ups or companion pieces to entries in the prior bundle were included this go around, which I appreciate.

BTW the unknown game I was most excited to see included in this bundle was Elephantasy, a game I added to my steam wishlist after playing through Polymute in the prior bundle

BTW looking at the list of games to be added in with the next update and Baba Is You seems to be the biggest addition as I’m not sure its price has ever gone as low as $5 before.

where did you see the list of additions?

EDIT: nvm you can see the submissions page at Indie bundle for Palestinian Aid - General Discussion - itch.io

One can pick up Outbuddies DX in this for $1 and someone told me it was neat, so that’s a good price to check that out at.

I wound up buying snowrunner in the current epic sale (even though it’s not on sale, it just gets the coupon) because I was really enjoying it on game pass. very nice lonely physics
