I love that the designer for Tails was so insistent that his name should be Miles Prower, he was so proud of his great pun, that the higher-ups at SEGA were like “siiiiighh fine let’s compromise”. whatever they offered him to make his best-known name “Tails” instead of “Miles”, it was too little.

the recent Dragon Quest localizations are full of good puns but the all time champs of those puns are the tank titles in Rocket Slime
