Even more Dengeki Nurse:

highly competitive with my current signature image
im really enjoying these btw and ive been sending the best of the best to my housemates hahaha
Tokihiro Naito’s new shooter/druag hybrid Xegrader Plus came out and I am messing with it a lot and finding some fun little secrets in it, but the funniest thing so far is the global leaderboard’s number one rank:
Even he doesn’t have 100 percent.
I’ve also been playing this a little, on E_Megas’s recommendation. It’s not easy.
I really like the art style of the enemy sprites in the MSX original. (You can purchase the old graphics as DLC but I didn’t.)
Forza Horizon 4 is really just a casino. Numbers just going up all the time and winning stuff. Nothing matters. The vibes are good at least.
Made it to level 17, but with only 29% of secrets. This game rules.

I earned the number and finished First Light. Good game aside from the bullshit final boss sequence I had to die and retry a hundred times to get through. If you’re playing on hard you’ll know what I mean. It’s probably tolerable on the normal difficulties.
Also it’s a Surf Dracula but that was to be expected. They say James Bond Will Return so I hope the big money people at Amazon don’t suddenly decide AAA games aren’t worth it anymore and shut down IO.
I decided to pick this up after the demo and have only made slight progress in the section immediately beyond the demo content, turns out after having not played since Sunday I had to go read through all the prior transmissions to remind myself how it all sorta worked
I am still a bit worried that my many years since taking a math class will be an issue as things get more abstract, but I decided enough people seem to dig this thing that I should give it a real shot.
My issue is that I also picked Emuurom back up (spoiler: not the best game to play while covering everyone’s vacation shifts at work on and off for multiple weeks) and while I was grumpy and just sorta running around in circles making no real progress for some number of in-game hours (my one biggest lead sorta ended at a “…now what?” point, and a smaller one ended up being one of those “can only access at a certain real life time” deals) I finally hit a genuine big breakthrough at about the 21 hour mark (again, hit the initial ending at the 7-8 hour mark) that legit opens things up and feels like it could lead to a more genuine conclusion.
This means I am technically juggling multiple puzzle games at the same time which usually ends poorly (did not expect the breakthrough in the latter, if I waited much longer for the former I’d likely forget too much), I am hoping I can at least clear out Emuurom in a reasonable amount of time now and then focus solely on Message but live odds it blows up in my face.
Getting closer with the Taurus Demon but it’s still pretty rough. I think it’s just a matter of doing the moves correctly.
We are obsessed with Cake Wait now too and have played for about one hour. I’m going on a trip with my sister and nieces tomorrow and I’m so looking forward to 4 player Cake wait…
I love how Cake Wait 3 is trying to distract the player with visuals. So we the players are completely focused on counting to 10, sitting still in dead silence, poker face, while at the same time the camera is slowly zooming in on a cute little strawberry doing a little dance on screen.
Beatspell the RPG roguelite mode is extremely difficult right now!! Only drummers are allowed. Somehow I can still barely scrape by, playing sloppily + min / maxing. I’m sticking with the easy basic Flame and Heal spell all the time, no other spell since they’re too complicated, no attempt at dodging, avoiding every fancy battle. This nets me 2 or 3 out of 5 stars at the end of every stage without fail. But I still win!!
I didn’t enjoy my time with the other Rhythm Tengoku game I’ve played (Megamix for the 3DS) at all… I expected a game like Warioware with rhythm based games. But unlike Warioware, Rhythm Heaven is extremely rigorous, and there’s very little room for improvement… you either have a great sense of rhythm, or you don’t, and it seems I mostly don’t.
It feels off to have this friendly Nintendo game do the Nintendo thing of dangling cute dopamine rewards in front of you, while actually making them insurmountably hard to get.
Anyway now that I’ve left behind any expectation of success though, it’s fine. Give me the 2 stars and the barely OK ratings. It’s cool. I’ll still try to get good scores and attempt every opportunity at a Perfect score, but failure is the expectation and success is a surprise
Just experience some ego death and you’ll enjoy Rhythm Paradise. This is my GOTY so far and my current obsession is Lightning Bolting
Wow, Titanium Court sure makes a u-turn after your enemy reveals himself and Puck tells you what the problem is. I did not expect it to go this way, though I was getting nervous when fairies started going “stale” . What an unusual turn of events…
After several aborted attempts, I’ve finally begun playing Neo: The World Ends with You in earnest, and it’s…eh. I really like the original game, but all the things about it that sprung up from being designed for the Nintendo DS–namely its kludged-together combat system–are extremely load-bearing, and the sequel has no idea how to really match it: what they end up with feels half-assed. The story is also merely fine. I realize expecting players to be familiar with the original was not a given, but this one if anything feels slower than the first TWEWY. I like the new cast, at least.
I’m working my way through the documentary portion of that Mortal Kombat collection Digital Eclipse did. It’s funny to see all these guys in their early 20s or 30s working on the first game, then cutting to them now, older, grayer, balder.
It’s also wild to see the video capture stuff they did, like the actual original footage they pulled the digitized frames from. One of 'em with Scorpion has Ed Boon excitedly kinda crash the session and posit the spear move, and they kinda workshop it out right there. Wild that’s just preserved in that session footage.
Made my way to the home releases of the first game. I was a Genesis kid so I knew the ugly gory version, but holy moly, the SNES version feels awful. And the Game Boy and Game Gear versions…woof.
Anyway this is the funniest part so far.
Just got to the World of Ruin in FF6. How much longer can this game go on!!!
Story-wise you’re like 70% of the way through but if you want to do side quests and recruit all the characters you’re really more like 50%.
I wound up bailing out when that part started, emotionally I was ready for the game to be over and I was like “helllll nah”
Speaking of games that might be too much of a time sink I’m messing with Unfair Flips and I might be too cursed to play such a pure RNG game
As a teen i was obsessed with apocalyptic stuff, so when i got to the world of ruin i was ecstatic
Also i just finished the Trails remake demo, it’s pretty good so far if a bit slow paced. I think i only got slightly further in the original years ago.
I will say however, that i think if your prologue chapter goes for almost 10 hours it probably shouldn’t be called a prologue lol
