These are the best games that no one seemingly bothered to play. They could probably release level packs of these games and I’d buy them forever.
I swear enough at the game as is (I thought I had the production level that takes place after the screenshot figured out except I missed one tiny detail that’s gonna force me to scrap virtually everything, although I have one absurd hail mary still to play) but sure, always good to have something to aim for.
I just got my Muchi Muchi Pork/Pink Sweets in the mail. It has been a while since I played the original pcbs so this has been almost like the first time I have played these games. They are absolutely terrific. Is Yagawa doing anything anymore? Man is a genius of the shoot em up genre.
I started the Steam version of FFVII of all things because I was in the mood for a RPG and this was the only one I had already installed. I’m looking for mods available for the Steam version and they are all about making the game look more badass. And no, I don’t want badass, I want the polygons to not to look out of place with the blurry backgrounds.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 has upgraded a lot of France roads (and reworked Paris almost completely) so I will pick my lovely truck to deliver frozen peas this weekend. I am always amazed how much content they still put on the game on a regular basis.
Played through chapter 3 of Kentucky Route Zero. Felt a bit more patchy than I remember the others, but still one of my favourite games.
I would like to play this game in 3-D.
Edit: Also, I finally noticed that it uses the same font as a bunch of Steve Moraff games

I played the Cave shump Deathsmiles. Pretty good horizontal shooter. Would recommend for beginners of the genre.

ibara again a couple of times. still not sure. the power-ups look too much like enemies. or the enemies look too much like power-ups. one or the other. it’s confusing
The Final Fantasy 13 trilogy is pretty good to be honest, and Lightning Returns is an absolute banger of a weird B-Grade JRPG. 13-2 is the obvious weak point, but even it has a great soundtrack and a solid villain.
realised 8 hours in that dragon’s dogma does have some kind of fast travel
i think anyone who finds the combat in xv at least interesting should check out lightning returns.

the combat isn’t great though, you have three outfits you can switch between instead of the paradigm setup from XIII; early in the game you get one that is immune to physical attacks, another that is immune to magic and a third for The Big DPS
and this setup works for every fight

All the sonic games are on sale on the 3DS store so I picked up the two 3D ones and holy moly these are gorgeous. Great alterations too! Spindash in sonic one!

Yes, they are great. I finished Sonic 1 today. People who say the original games were bad are dopes, they’re far from perfect but they are still very good.

they’re not bad, the biggest problem is that none of them has more than like 50% good level design
1, 2, 3, and CD are the best in the series. The Sonic Adventure games didn’t age very well imo.
