Its hard to take a picture and play edf on vita at the same time but I promise you I am having the time of my life
[iron butterfly voice] In Da Garden of Vita baybe
This is the entire plot, if you could call it that, of layers of fear. Bloober is the worst
press the ps logo button and the start button together to take a screenshot
OK next time I’ll do that and post it with the vita browser as well, thank you!! Vita means life!
Oh damn im also trying to get the mushi original 1cc right now! I have more trouble with stage 3 than 4 and 5 fsr lol. Good luck!!!
the trick to 3, i’ve found, is basically never hold shoot to slow down because that clusters all your options on top of your ship. you want your options as spread out as possible so you can hit all the bullshit on screen at the same time. when you have formation options try to stay centered, and when you have follow options snake slowly all the way left and then all the way right so they cover most of the screen most of the time. you need to spot a path through the incoming bullets before you turn around.
almost everything in 3 shoots directly at you so small movements are best. i can’t remember too many attacks that require large repositions.
it’s all about crowd control and weaving a path back and forth. i think it looks scarier than it actually is, but it could be just because i’ve played it so much now.
if you want uncompressed screenshots or to bypass per-game lockouts and watermarks on the vita, check out pngshot or bmpshot or Screenie (there’s also PSOneScrot which allows taking screenshots of PS1 games on Vita)
pngshot and bmpshot maintain the original PS+Start shortcut
Screenie uses L+R+Select, outputs .bmp
as for PSOneScrot, a Screenshot option pops up in the Official Settings for PS1 games… not sure what the output is
there’s also a plugin that names the folders rather than leaving them an illegible ID, can’t remember the name currently tho
When the vita saves a screenshot, it randomly creates a folder name composed of two letters. This makes finding screenshots frustrating as you would have to search through a maze of folders with no coherent structure.
reScreeny fixes this issue by redirecting the screenshot to a folder named after the game it was taken in.
Example:
ux0:/photo/SCREENSHOT/molecularShell
- Supports Unicode (Japanese and other non-ASCII characters)
- When an illegal character is found, it is replaced with a space
- If path is too long, the game name will be truncated
- If no game name is found, it will be stored in the “Other” folder
- Adrenaline will save to PspEmu folder.
- The Photo app will work as normal, however the title of the image given by the vita will be different than the title given by reScreeny. This is because reScreeny uses a uniform naming system that include microseconds, it also is generated a few seconds after the vita’s title. So keep this in mind.
- cuevavirus has tested with pngshot and it works fine
whoa, a miracle
Let me know if you (or anyone else reading) dips into the absolutely scary amount of DLC for R-Type Final 2, there’s a ton of it and I admit to being curious if any of it is worthwhile.
I dont remember who it was im sorry to say but someone was posting pretty comprehensively about the dlc in the shooting games thread as it was coming out
wourme I think!!
Dropped a “Skyrim sucks” in the normie wow guild voice chat last night. Glorious, to bask in the shock and dismay. Like kicking a bad opinion anthill and watching all the bad opinions run around bumping into each other chaotically.
skyrim sucking is one of those weird things because like
the product that bethesda released originally is a heavily flawed, bloated, uninspired thing… but this is but one star in a constellation of available experiences that are still identifiably “skyrim” in 2023
it’s kinda like if i say “roblox sucks”, like… you might need to be more specific at this point lmao
I bet I’d probably like Skyrim if I ever feel the urge for that kind of game again. As opposed to playing like, Fallout 4.
But I probably owe it to myself to just play something better/more interesting.
Trust me when I say that the vast majority of the gaming public is not playing, like, Enderal. They are playing vanilla Skyrim on console.
The R-Type Final 2 level packs are absolutely worthwhile. They are all reimagined levels from various past games and they did a great job with them, overall.
