is it weird that I have this repulsion to like, inhabiting a cat because I love mine so much? everyone has such good things to say about stray but I don’t know if I want to control a cat! this might be the remnants of my skateboarding game rant a few days ago but to me half the reason cats are so interesting and compelling is because you can’t actually know what’s going on in their heads? and so the idea of controlling one feels bad to me, I dunno

I put on a stream and the first thing I heard was “So I can’t jump” and I thought “so why does this even exist” and then the cat kept doing that sort of rapid bugged-out spinny “which way do I go” animation whenever it pressed up against a wall so I guess video games are hard to make after all
I guess a cat adventure game that controls like Assassins Creed might be very pleasant?? I am glad people seem to enjoy it, I’d be playing it right now if I had a free copy, until that happens I’ll just daydream about how cool Blinx is

So far the cat does feel really… stiff? Like all cats faultlessly travel along rails on top of every object according to Stray. Their limbs never slip or dart to and fro when touching or navigating anything. Cat antics only burst out during contextual animations and even then are limited by our animation director’s checklist of ‘things cat do’. All the robot stuff makes me wonder if we were initially planned to be a little helper bot until the prototype reminded people vaguely of cats.
This cat has zero sass and is literate.

the logan paul dlc came out for wwe 2k22 today, i tried playing it again after making an entire federations worth of weird wrestlers and designing show/PPV logos with unique identites, modding every entrance theme, etc but the load times are still so long. i’m a hard working person with so little time. im going to mug vince mcmahon if i see him

I’m angry that I’m coming here to say that I don’t hate Multiversus
it is perfectly fine
they made a thing and it’s good and accessible and works perfectly fine even with the usual obnoxious F2P stuff (there is an entire section in the game’s very helpful glossary entitled “economy”)
I won’t even complain about the relative (to other platform fighters) slow pace because the game is very clearly paced and balanced for duos and cooldowns and I get it and yeah, I don’t hate it
for the perverts: Melee is Dota, Ultimate is LoL, Rivals of Aether is Dota 2, Nick Smash is Smite, Multiversus is HotS

i got a preowned copy of wwe 2019 a year or rwo ago because i was nostalgic for that kind of wrestling game, and i wanted a 3d character maker that might offer more versatility than soul calibur vi.
fire pro has ruined me for wwe games i think, as 19 was inferior in every way, and i just couldn’t stand playing it. didn’t even make it through a full match before getting bored.
and though the character creation had some interesting options like being able to paint in hair dye with the analogue sticks, the clothing options sucked, and it just wasn’t as fun to use as sc6.
can’t see myself ever getting another wwe game tbh

as a pervert, rivals is great but it’s not the dota 2 equivalent, melee is just the dota equivalent and dota 1 and 2 shouldn’t really be thought of as totally different and separate things. also project m is hon
