Fallout 3 casually resolving the “where is a GECK” plotline by having the brotherhood of steel, an organization the water scientists have been in contact with for decades, casually have an unencrypted computer with vaults with GECKs listed. Fuck this game.

Dumping all the Chiral contaminated packages at the door of the junkman because he wants me to get 110 kg of garbage from BT infested ruins for god knows what reason.

sounds like a game an unrestrained hideo kojima might produce

it’s interesting how simon’s quest and adventure of link have basically the same story (plus or minus a sleepy bitch)

and a similar title, shifting the focus to the protagonist’s personal issues

and how both games serve to define the “weird nes sequel” trend

and how both now have side-scrolling towns with shitty villagers

At this point in the game it is highly suggested to try and complete some of the highways but also try to start fucking around and pushing on the edges of the system a little bit. See what happens when a MULE or ‘terrorist’ dies and isnt just knocked out. See what happens when YOU die in an area that isn’t a major story area. I also always ignored the random packages I found along the way, they were boring.

Ultimately there are a lot of systems still in the game from what seems like an earlier draft when it was more systems-y but aren’t required or even obviously still there unless you really fuck up. It’s fun to go and find some of those edge cases where the older draft of the game starts to poke its head out.

after watching Hundreds Of Beavers I want the next Death Stranding to be nothing but escalating hi-jinks and elaborate death traps abusing the laws of physics

Rube Gold-man (likeness of Seth Rogen): That’s right, Sam. They may look like a cat and a mouse, but they’re actually BTs. However, these ones are on our side. They can help you use the materials you’ve gathered build to a contraption to help deliver your cargo.

You have to hold down each R button to carry something by hand, which is required for this next mission by the junk dealer, whom i already fucking hate. this sucks

I have a lot of thoughts on the Human Delivery mission right after I complete it I’m just like “there’s about 100 better ways to do this and somehow we’ve picked the worst one”
