Loom Audio Drama - included in the Loom game box on cassette (some later cassette version side Bs were “the first commercial cassette to employ Dolby-S noise reduction”) or CD, provided a half-hour musical and audio drama as a prelude to the game. Recorded at Skywalker Sound:
Loom’s designer Brian Moriarty on the audio drama (embed starts at 14:57):
bravo on the team for not putting a kill plane up there to kill the fun
I like how they hug at the end.
Ah, so they DID pronounce the “ROM²” as “rom rom”:
It’s in the video thumbnail in katakana, the voiceover says it right at the end, and it’s romanized toward the end too:
Thought this was put together well, now I know there was some ex-Rareware (Heather Stevens, level design) in the mix : )
I watched the two minute version. Is that Willem Dafoe? lmao
Edit: it is!
OH MY GOD I JUST WATCHED THE TWO MINUTE TRAILER TOO THIS MIGHT BE THE FUNNIEST THING IVE SEEN IN MY LIFE

It’s a fan-made parody.
that explains a lot lol
Damn that really crushes my dreams. I thought I was about to buy a new sports game in 2022.
A lot of muzak Ska in this one @Rudie:
Man one session with R4 did something to my brain, it’s really starting to like PS1 3D graphics now. = oo
Vampir: Kyūketsuki Densetsu - from the list of PS1 Classics on the Japanese PS3 store – List of downloadable PlayStation games (Japan) - Wikipedia
Also Noon, which is colorful
And Dragon Money, which I looked up just for the name : P
And Hanabi Fantast
And Pet Pet Pet
And Community POM: Omoide o Dakishimete
And Vehicle Cavalier
And Fire Panic, released in North America as Rosco McQueen Firefighter Extreme
Anyway, while the North American PS1 Classics list List of downloadable PlayStation games (North America) - Wikipedia (for PS3–also I guess PSP, and Vita (and PS TV ‘p’)) says it has 265 games, with 8 delisted, the Japanese list, which does not bother enumerating itself, has by my rough count uh about 825 or so games on it!
