I AM STREAMING AGAIN TODAY
Watch the #1 Spelunker Party player in history (me) team up with the #2 player (Drem) online…right now!

any views would be greatly appreciated! i mostly just stream wave race and other n64 speedruns but it’s been a nice cozy fun time lately and apparently people enjoy it because i get viewers every stream now

Gonna gamer stream some fuckin’ SHIT and tonight that shit is DARK SOULS 2.
you have notes from the underground scrolling on your stream, I seen it
I DON’T HAVE ANY STUFFY OLD LITERATURE ON MY GAMER STREAM RIGHT NOW BUT I DO HAVE ME TALKING ABOUT GAMES AND PLAYING BLOODBORNE. TUNE IN.

FUCK I HAVENT PLAYED IN LIKE A YEAR I NEED TO PRACTICE EXPERT MODE MORE
I don’t know what you all are using to stream/record with but I can now highly recommend nvidia’s own program, which is called shadowplay or maybe it’s not, I really don’t know but you know what I’m talking about if you have an nvidia graphics card
I used to record in OBS but that started no longer be viable for graphics intense games because I only have a middle of the line GPU. So I switched to nvidia’s thing.
at first I had a lot of problems with it. like, I have headphones that are so loud I have to set the Windows system volume down to 2. yes, 2 out of 100. but when i did that the game audio that was recorded in shadowplay was super low too. so then I cranked it up to a level I could barely cope with and the sound was all fucked. It had some kind of background noise in it that must have been coming from the hardware, I thought. so what I did was set the audio output to my speakers and plug in in-ear headphones. then put my headset on on top of that so I could use its microphone. the headset was silent, just needed the microphone. this hurt my ears, as you can imagine. but the sound quality was better, the background noise was gone.
things like that.
now the app has been updated multiple times and has even gotten some nice new features, like letting you record the mic audio into a separate file and stuff like that. and I don’t have the volume problems anymore, I can record with my headset just fine and the game audio isn’t too low or has noise in it. they did a good job!
so, that’s my recommendation for gpu intensive games. of course OBS is probably still better if you like to stream with complicated “scenes” that you can set up in there but for recording stuff it’s actually pretty nice
https://www.twitch.tv/tuppler I’m streaming Holy Umbrella for the snexcast we’re recording tomorrow, come watch me play this game
