Jdownloader works good for dealing with archive’s glacial speeds when you’re download bunch a bunch of packs to load up a mister
I promise you I am using jdownloader and sometimes it would give me as little as 50-100 kbps and other times it would drill 30MB down my pipe, something I can seemingly alter just by stopping and resuming the downloads
Wonderswan I think the bios need a specific name. Same for Saturn.
N64 you need like this text file that says what ram to specifiy?
If anyone is interested in the ITX Llama / Vortex86EX / x86 sytem on a chip thing described here: (ITX-Llama (Vortex86EX ITX motherboard) - DONE! \ VOGONS), there is an attempt being made to produce more. Here’s the planning discord: Llama Boards
We’re trying to get at least 50 people. I’m recruiting.
there’s an SNES test core with savestates @Rudie
implementation is similar to sd2snes/fxpak

Yay!
Konami Xmen Core I guess out in Jotego Beta.
fiddled and got the N64 core working
I turned on the UltraHDMI option and then turned it off because I decided that the N64 looking that crisp and clean was illegal and did not want to be involved in a crime
analogue 3d surprisingly reasonable (before shipping, not accounting for the miserable preorder experience, etc.) wonder if the spectre of $200 mister lit a fire under them
Yeah I was pretty surprised at that price and those 8bitdo controllers look very nice. One comes with it, right? If so that’s actually a very reasonable price. I don’t know how much an everdrive is but surely there’s a million clones now, right?
None of the analogue consoles come with controllers.
Oh lol
I’m just excited for those 8Bitdo controllers…the third party aftermarket N64 controller world is such a dang mess. It’ll be nice to have something that works.
the NT Noir did!
now discontinued
if there was user-core feature support ala pocket it would look like a great deal at that price, assuming jotego and co. were able to get in the door: Cyclone 10, nice frontend, nice upscaling etc… perhaps “no open fpga support” is a prayer to heaven nintendo won’t lawyer them into oblivion for this
qmtech mister all-in-one is available

taki mister all-in-one is “sometime soon” (24/h alert via email)

i totally get the appeal but on deeper consideration fpga console + fpga cartridge seems like a bridge too far for me, personally. one tower of workarounds and hacks teetering atop another. i’m sure it’s totally fine + convenient but really tests the reality of the “no software emulation” claim, lol. console homebrew devs are already forking on “if flashcart” and “if analogue console”. ares weeps
I’m looking at it as a way to balance exploring the catalog without having to deal with the collectors market for a game you might play for an hour
I’m not really the target market for this thing
What happens when you run update_all with archive dot org’s files being currently down? Do you lose things?
