i unsarcastically appreciate that!
lower thine guard and thouārt allowing the enemy in
honestly the bottom line is just that when it comes to language iāll take inspired over utilitarian every time, at probably whatever cost
space limitations as an artform unto itself rules though, yeah
you sound like youād be a perfect candidate for playing felixās final fantasy tactics, now patched through chapter 2, and I just encountered and fixed the bug at the beginning of chapter 3 that drove me to abandon this project last time, so look out, folks, I might actually finish
thatās a great thing to say during a threesome btw
.
With the exception of Tietra, I like all of these
Barbaneth is the only one whose translated analog Iām familiar with
When I played it the one time I got wrecked and youāre talking about making it harder so no thanks

infinitessimally! Iām just boosting later bossesā HP and changing the win conditions of a couple later fights that itās way too easy to end abruptly, as well as making orlandu slower and much less durable (but no less strong because that wouldnāt be any fun).
none of those are even noticeable in more than one of the gameās first 25 battles
though I am considering buffing agrias because her low PA has always made me sad
I finally remembered where I learnt of all the US PS1 version changes:
https://www.gamefaqs.com/psp/937312-final-fantasy-tactics-the-war-of-the-lions/faqs/50422
Ctrl+F to the section "00changes"
Seems to document every single change across them all. I missed how the Charge time for Summons was also reduced.
The section after also covers all the various name changes for both spells and people for the WotL translation which may be of interest.
thanks, I just took a look over them for the first time!
it kills me that they apparently removed the spell callouts from the PSP version (I didnāt know this and itās another reason to dislike it), and I have to say Iām very fond of the lowered JP costs and job level requirements in the original NA release (I tend to more or less speedrun the game when I play it and being able to count on your melee characters eventually getting enough JP to learn haste for a time magic secondary because your chemists and wizards will passively nudge them over lv. 2 for both classes is a very convenient mechanic that spares you having to dick around with melee characters as mages).
summons are overpowered in the original NA release but only if you figure out that you need to ignore everything after the first few which arenāt prohibitively slow and pair them with black mage stats and all the MA gear you can get in chapter 2, which is a relatively niche strategy (but still by far the easiest way to get through that part of the game dramatically underleveled). likewise, I donāt mind them having made velius and queklain easier ā those are both āoh christ I need a breakā battles for a first-time player, and theyāre both fights that can easily go wrong if you donāt hit the boss as hard as you can ASAP. Iād much rather make adramelk, zalera, and chretien more difficult.
Actually what would be the character that would fit the best to inexplicably keep Ye Olde Dialogue with. Thereās gotta be someone in the cast with antiquated views/honor system that would fit really well to have talk this way.
forsooth!
leaning meliadoul
I should probably do agrias though because I couldnāt not make her character really flat
chapter 3 is less fun to rewrite so Iām just polishing earlier ones
I should post some screenshots to make this more interesting
Iād try this but I dont even have a computer anymore
How did you translate l.i.t.t.l.e. m.o.n.e.y. ?
