Yes, that is a Nash Metropolitan. Yes, it’s still being driven (it wasn’t parked there yesterday).

always a good sign if your fanbase forgot you had announced a game

for your racing series, and reading between the lines, this sounds like massive turnover problems if you cannot find staff to finish your game, even if you’d really believe their PR bullshit of fancy new game changing blahblah :tarothink:

Took a coworker home today and as we made the turn off the street that leads to main road we were gonna take to his place he noticed me shifting manually. I was doing so 'cause as I pulled out and around a car-destroying set of potoholes I noted a Jeep Wrangler coming our way with a fury and thought there was a good chance he’d swerve into our lane and possibly run us over. I figured I’d pop it over into “Manual,” just in case I needed to make the car actually go.

He asked me if I liked driving manual, or if it was fun, and I said “Yeah, it’s alright, but this isn’t really manual. There’s no clutch.” Then I gave the stick a tap and popped it back over into drive and said “And now it’s back to being an automatic.”

That’s pretty much all the car story I have.

Last week, or maybe a couple weeks ago, we got buzzed by a pair of F-22’s (presumably on a training hop out of Travis, our little airport is a popular place for them to practice touch-and-go’s, and flying the length of a runway). Let me put it like this, they were loud enough and shook the building hard enough that you had a whole bunch of folks that don’t even flinch when the 767’s pull on to the runway, or when standing under them out on the runway as they fire up their motors, running through the building going “What the fuck is that!? What’s going on!?!”

Good times. Love low bypass turbofans and (I’d wager good money) afterburners.

Yep.

Honda reviving Motocompo as Motocompacto. Specs are disappointing with a 12 mile max range. Looks cool though.

People keep saying the range is bad but as a “last mile” vehicle I think it’s good enough. Park your car a mile or two out of the busy downtown and zip to your destination, no need to pay for parking.

Heck I might get one and use it to go pick up takeout instead of taking my car.

(“Just get a bike Mikey” no I want the little anime scooter)

I mean it’ll do a job sure, but it’s also like not any better than any given stand up electric scooter and heavier and and bigger and less portable and twice the price.

But it is more than two times cooler than any other lameass lime scooter, you have to give it that.

… yeah, count me in with the ‘fell in love at first sight’ camp :servbotsalute:

Just saw this wonderfully yellow MR2,

for 4.8k, 2nd cheapest and not crashed? Almost a steal … with a catch:

an Auto-box.
Not that i’d mind that, but i have two auto-boxes already, and that car shouts manual to me… but then i don’t need it, so i’ll just enjoy watching the pixxxx of it.

re Rennsport Reunion:
Also Porkers only, but not quite on the same level as the RR7. Still, had a good time at the Cars & Coffee meeting at the Hockenheimring today:

Nice car corral, while some vintage racecars had a blast racing around the 'ring in the background. Met some nice people there, so all in all a good time!
