Lacklustre PS4 performance, don’t think i can stand the Harriersounds my PS4 would make.
Just in case it’s not clear: that one race where the frame rate sucks on base PS4 is 20 cars, raining, at dusk so all cars have their headlights on. It’s the worst case scenario and not necessarily indicative of average game play.
And that’s exactly what the game has to hold up to, max number of cars in worst weather conditions, because it is exactly there that you need the best responsiveness of the inputs!
Nothing like sliding around like you’re on ice during a thunderstorm, in your way overpowered V8 with FR layout, without driving aids… the realest of real driving simulators.
My pedals and shifter won’t work on console without adapters so I won’t buy GT7 immediately, but Merry Gran Turismo day to all.
After being consumed by our tarnished quest for the Elden Ring in the Lands Between, I did log back on to the online highways last night for some driving with folks on the previously mentioned Ugase City and Kanazawa Iwozen Assetto Corsa maps.

honestly a game where i drive around japan stopping at yoshinoya to grab some lunch is all i really want
GT7 is fun so far, it really feels peak “dad”, even for a GT game.
i’m a little bummed cause it seems like none of my custom liveries made it over, despite me having uploaded them. i had to delete sport to make room for 7, and it stores your liveries with the game data, so rip to my ‘splash wave’ 911 gt3 and may other cool designs
