Fading Brakelight Obscurity II - Championship Edition (Part 1)

I drove a black truck with a black interior and no AC in the south for so many years that I’m just trained to never use it. I turn it on for passengers though! I’m no monster!

Just pull the belt off if its an engine driven pump if its not you’re no losing anything anyway.

I have a some times slow leak in my AC core. Its like 6 hundos to replace it + labor. the last recharge has lasted almost a year so far so fuck it.

didn’t know that before

the moment when you press the AC button and you think

pray… for answer.

First one to predict that many a buyer will call it Claude, and feel like they are oh-so-clever.
Otoh, channeling some T1/T2 VW bus is always a good idea, so all the luck to them, I guess.

this is serious business, wow… this car is the first hypercar that i actually respect. If i was a young lad, it’s a car I’d like, adore, or even just like to take a drive in once in my life.
And that’s a massive feat in my book, since i don’t give a shit about the P1, the red car or the 918, nor other spanish, asian or russian wannabe-hypercars.

It’s crazy how much this car ticks boxes on a list i’d make, who the hell puts luggage space or ease of access on a todo-list of such a bizarrely expensive car… luckily i’ll never be able to afford one.
Looking forward to take this for a spin in a Forza or some other game soon!

Yeah as someone who sort of scoffs at a lot of these I have to say “dang”

The four valiant youths…

… and there the joke falls apart, considering the typical Honda drivers age bracket of 50+ (sry, pun was too good to pass up upon).

otoh, i expect this to be big with the young'uns,

and last weekend quite a few twentysomethings checked it out parked in front of a shopping mall, where i saw it in flesh… metal for the first time. Looks quite daft, and kinda want to take it for a spin!

I love the Hard Drive’n replay song they stuck in there.

whot.

does honda not believe that there are nerds outta there that’d ride this thing to hell and back?
I can only imagine so much how mad SoCal is going to be as soon as they find out they’ll be fxxked over.

we don’t get quirky cars anymore our choices are three-row SUVs, crossovers, about 4 sedans (outside of the luxury market {for now}) and giant fucking pickup trucks. You wanna sell a hatchback around here you gotta give it a 1-inch lift and slap some plastic cladding around the wheel-wells to make it a “rugged crossover”

Anyway I’m here talking shit but maybe my next car might be the little crossover-based pickup truck that Hyundai is going to release here next year so I guess I’m part of the problem

I’m never buying a new car ever again at this rate.

Hatchbacks, sedans, and manual transmissions are dropping like flies over here. The only new vehicle Ford sells here that isn’t a pickup or SUV is the Mustang :\

was reminded of this story/car

This clip played before several of the episodes if I recall right.
Also I think there was an episode or segment on the mach 5’s development.
