zach gage used to be in blue man group?
which one was he?
also im sick of thinking, thinking is the last thing i want more of, the whole point of playing games is to stop thinking
hahaha no but that would be cool. i simply meant he owned the home of the person who created BMG
like i get it - i, too, once believed that they merely materialized into our meat space, not that someone owned them or could own things
āThinkyā is killing me itās like if you announced a new serious racing sim and posted this
for the key visual.
yeah Zach has always been a nice guy to me but he definitely comes from money, in addition to all the money he made off of Spelltower etc. heās kind of famously wealthy to people in the NYC scene.
At last, the shape of thinking to comeā¦ someone finally wants to āā"āelevate thinkingā""" out of the detested pits of low culture, as if posturing as an intellectual or smart thinker werenāt a tried and true way that stupid shit is made to look praise worthy and lucrative.
Iām going into the city with my friends, have a decent lunch, and then weāre all getting trepanned to exclude ourselves from this thinky future.
on the one hand: a lot of these kinds of puzzle games are pretty niche and itās probably good thereās some sort of funding or resources to support them
on the other hand: a lot of these games kinda fall into the same niche/cliches as far as design, which has always been a problem with the indie space. saying āwe want to expand the horizons!ā but then actively ignoring anything that doesnāt fit that particular nicheās approaches as somehow lesser or irrelevant. and seemingly being totally unaware of your blind spots, and actively ignoring anyone who points them out. and as with any fund like this or publisher like this iām sure thereās a lot of weird shitty politics involved with getting funding (i.e. favoritism, lack of labor protections, weird legal hoops etc) that make it way less attractive of a deal than it sounds on the surface. so itās just another gatekeeper in the space at the end of the day.
edit: if any of these indie publishers or funders wants people to trust them, they have to consistently demonstrate that thereās anything worth trusting about them and the way they run stuff. which obviously weāre not in the climate right now where anyone has to do that at all because they hold basically all the cards right now.
i know i talk shit ab kh but itās because i love kh
i have a love / hate relationship with nomura but i knew this shit was coming so whatever
this isnāt coming out for a long time and thereās TWO mobile game tie ins that i will forget to play but thatās cool hopefully someone will stream this on twitch or whatever the equivalent will be in 2035
is ff xvi still comin out?
iām stoked ab it despite having no way to play it right now
okay one thing i will complain ab is that my homie riku is not ANYWHERE in these trailers like cāmon nomura donāt do this to me AGAIN man
finally a genre for sapiosexuals
I mean riku is lost in insomnia obviously. youāll have to play ffxv-2 to see what heās up to
Yoshi P said Covid delayed it. I think next year seems pretty likely at this point?
oh wow! thatās good to know, thanks! i am a little excited tbh
I meanā¦ I am all for a bunch of puzzle game devs getting money tossed their way, let them get their turn at the money trough. Letās make qrostar rich!
