Does it work? Pikmin 3 bingo battle* and Nintendoland are great.

*the wiiu version is better than switch because it has cursor aiming

You can hack it and play gamecube games natively from a usb drive. Technically the wii is better for this since you can use real gc controllers but you can buy gc shaped pro controllers iirc and the only missing thing is analog triggers

probably the worst vidcon purchase ive made and it was hard to get rid of but maybe the homebrew scene is good idk

A pal is selling it so I didn’t want to flip it.

He actually said he tried to hack it but it wasn’t playing along which scared me off. His garage sale is still running though so maybe I’ll run back after some lunch.

Nintendoland is the main selling point for me but I don’t know much more about the library.

You can play my Mario’s on it (they’re great, my switch ones are also great but you can’t play as slippy on those)

Yes, I recreated the level in Mario Maker 2 but it got banned for some reason

It was originally titled “Baby Gas: Slippy’s Secret shame” and it had lots of ice blocks

Wait maybe those levels are no longer available? I can’t remember if I backed them up before selling my Wii U

I live in Seattle and have a Wii U that you can just have. I haven’t turned it on in forever but I am pretty sure it works fine.

gonna play super paper Mario while soaking xp in gemstone yesssss I can’t WAIT to see how much ive soured on it. also gonna try to 100 percent it cuz all grinds are peanuts compared to gemstone

I still don’t own a Switch and most of the games I care about on there are games that were on Wii U or had their previous entry on Wii U (Smash, Splatoon, Mario Maker) which I haven’t played either so given the opportunity, I would definitely snatch it up for cheap
