And that was on antrac right?
Both on cassettes, lol.
cmon that escape club single deserves a little more respect than that
im so glad everyone here is on the same page as me about metroid, i went on twitter and felt like i went to an alternate universe
DR1 was cute and had a good twist, DR2 was kind of weird but had great characters, DRV3 was just complete dog poopoo
I’m sure there’s going to be 3 or 4 other biomes in this Metroid game that aren’t as boring to look at because trailers can be bad.
But like Tigress said, the real problem is Mercury Steam. Samus Returns fundamentally changed everything I liked about Metroid 2 in a monkey’s paw way, and the second I saw the melee/counter mechanic coming back I knew to lower my expectations after seeing METROID 5 in giant text.

It wasn’t the single! It was the whole damn album. But yeah the single is literally the only thing I remember from it.
I feel improbably catered-to as far as Nintendo goes
Just realized I left Slipknot off my numetal chart. Read into that how you’d like.
it’s almost as if the Nintendo gambit of “actually make games” is working
I’m still psychically reeling from Sakamoto’s statement yesterday that MercurySteam “has great taste.” I gotta wonder just how dire the average pitch Nintendo receives is for him to say that. Like, I’m imagining they have a trapdoor dedicated just for WayForward alone.
who are you calling everyone
honestly I’m shocked it took this long for WF to make a capital-N Nintendo game for Nintendo
and they get to do it and it’s just them polishing up a game people already like
I want Nintendo to co-sign some trademark weird WayForward horny
do it cowards
actually feeling pretty glad that i went through point by point and solidified what i liked about the metroid trailer before i read any other posts, i feel like i might’ve been tidalwaved into conformity with the sb hivemind otherwise
i mean maybe not but maybe, it’s hard to predict how my mind will behave
finally someone speaks the truth
Anti-Iowan sentiments smdh
