i dunno if people were expecting Prime or 2D metroid but it is funny how like every indie game ever by this point has made this format just seem like “eh” at this point to me.

i don’t have many metroid opinions but one thing i tend to think is i prefer metroid locations with weird alien caves over office buildings and laboratories
