of all the dumb things in their video, this was the best
between Hitman and Doom and Just Cause I’m getting the sense that, unexpectedly, this E3’s strongest point is unexpected (and possibly too soon, and possibly unremarkable) sequels to some of the lowkey best big budget titles of this generation
which, with an expectation adjustment, is OK really
on the other hand I feel consequently like I’m waiting on a new generation of game design that’s clearly not arriving in the next year or so
but not that upset about 2015-6 getting their due in this regard because that was a much stronger period of renewal than it got credit for
