I had a dream the other night that I was at some kind of large outdoor shopping center in London with a tall british guy I didn’t know but who I understood to be a friend. he wanted to go to a club there, which we found down a dirty hallway with a sign over the door that read DRILL in huge neon block letters. He turned to me and said “you’ll never guess what they play here.” and I said “What?” and he said “Drum and bass.”

I was stuck working on a dystopian gameshow where contestants/victims would crawl through a vertically oriented maze with a pexiglass panel facing the camera while avoiding deadly traps and there was some concern that the contestants would mess up the broadcast by getting naked.

Had a sex dream about a spiral themed porno. Someone I knew from years ago was there. There was a dude that was glowing like a burning coal who rolled across the floor in front of us when things were just getting started and left little beads of glass wherever he touched the floor. Following his flopping, burning body into a room but did not se him at all. It filled up with water. Some woman who managed to wedge herself into the corner of the room near the ceiling kept hollering “Rich bitches float! Poor bitches drown!” over and over, and I guess I was a rih bitch because I kept my head above the water.

I dreamed I bought entrance to the buffet at CU Boulder but it had been entirely replaced with convention space and the only food there was bread and a soda fountain. Someone said there was steak but there wasn’t. I had a piece of bread and some hawaiian punch.

Dreams about buggos lately. Last night, a very large, fast spider, which I hunted with my mother and sister. We succeeded in killing it. When my mom picked up its dead body she pricked her finger on one of its fangs.
The night before, a brief dream about a hornet in the house. I lost sight of it, and it buzzed in my ear. I woke up with quiet shout that I’m glad didn’t wake anybody else up

I took a nap and had a dream I was Slark from DotA, and I could stab people to gain their life essence, but then I picked up a tennis racket and was just slapping them with it so hard they would die, but somehow using the tennis racket didn’t get their essence, I had to use my special stabbing knife and I was very disappointed at this revelation

I dreamed I had a really big and unwieldy multi-compartment cardboard box that had come unfolded, and someone who was my superior in some way was angry at me not finding a use for it, and I ended up cutting it into pieces to make smaller boxes and sell them.

There was some sort of giant red easy chair installed in a hanger with sinister orange lighting in the center of town, and it was connected to a Cartman related riddle, alongwith other riddles connected to your favorite Viacom owned characters (which apparently included Drake).
After jumping on the chair to fate the South Park gods, I was in a rickety old hotel room which felt very Evil Dead, and I was going over every inch (and the room felt Rats.bsp style enormous while we we doing so) because a similar puzzle based promotion was going on through some professional organization and my coworker was trying to win it. We located a tiny sword (which there was some debate about it being a rogue item tied to the Drake event representing his recent battles) hidden on the molding above the door and that seemed to trigger a knocking on the door or under the floorboards and I was trying to invite it in when I woke up.

dreamt about half-life 2. specifics were vague but there was a bright sky, sheer dark stone walls, and aiming up at some sort of guard tower. so, again, i went on a quest to narrow down the most likely point of reference.

I had a dream about creeping around some keep, stealthing around like in Thief. The keep was populated by Dwarves and Gorillas,. including one real King Kong mf. The real wrinkle to the stealth was that the dwarves and gorillas would flip the lights on and off because the dwarves liked darkness but the gorillas didn’t, so it was unpredictable.

i was running a grift where i trained flies to knock over high up decorations at a chinese resturaunt near me, so i could catch them and save the person they were about to fall on, who would then give me gifts and prizes for saving their life
but then it got in the news that things were fallign at that resturaunt, anda youtuber (jarvis johnson if ppl are into yt) did a deep dive about how the only way thigns could fall like that is if someone trained flies and the only flies trainable are inthis garbage hall and the only people who fit the bill (moved in as things started falling) are VERONICA NAD DAPHNY and so i had to spend the rest of my dream running from the cops
OH EDIT TO ADD I SAW A PLANE AND ANOTHER PART OF MY DREAM GOT REMEMBERED
there was also a part where i was hiding out at this guys house who i ended up dating, and all hed do is stare out his window at naked women with binoculars, and i was like ‘why dont we ever take a vacation’ and he was like ‘we’re getting on a plane later today actually’ and i was like YAYY HOORAY but it ended up being a decommssioned plane on some trash heap that he slightly furnished because he had an even better view of naked women

dreamed my job was to carry the neighbors cat that sometimes wanders into our place over to some special sheets of paper which it would write on by licking in rows of little vertical strokes from right to left that would turn colorful on the paper (orange blue green etc.) like they were in watercolor. this was in a big concrete warehouse

Had a dream where there was a big multi story indoor theme park or are of some kind and i couldn’t get in due to some frustrating technicality so i had to slog through some kind of registration process and missed the first day

Dreamt that I was in a torture chamber where the walls and floors were made of metal and I was availed one metal chair and a wooden cross beam in the ceiling of the chamber. Every so often, the chamber would be electrified so that I would have to quickly jump to the cross beam and hang from there to avoid electric shock. I failed most times.
That was the dream, a night of electrocutions

Had the scariest dream in my whole goddamn life a few nights ago, that was just me walking to my car at night, and hearing some very loud footsteps run right up on me from behind, and…that’s it. Woke up gasping in a panic.

A dead friend showed up and I was surprised to see them, since they are dead. He rented a car and we went over to Berkely to buy some books. On the way back my friend disappeared and the car got repossessed, with my housekeys and cards inside it. I had to go through a series of sneaking missions at the impound lot and the tech company that made the car to finally get all my stuff back.
When I finally had it all back my friend showed up again and explained that he was an AI LLM now. I refused to shake his hand, at which point @SLUGGER showed up and pulled out a book she wrote, which I’d bought in Berkely, about how AI sucks, and signed it for me. My friend then revised his claim that he’d instead hacked the light fantastic, which I figured was good enough, and I shook his hand.

what an honor! I actually had a dream that I wrote a book the other night, but it was some kind of fantasy thing. the actual story was like 10% of the book and the rest was elaborate annotation, Pale Fire style
