try not to ‘feel hope’ for anything in these because lol but i guess i’d been hoping they’d bring that wind waker hd port over. i know, i know, problems with wind waker, but i’ve been wanting to revisit it and would rather do it on my switch than my gc

Flabbergasted that I watched a Nintendo Direct that had four Mario announced in it and the games I’m most excited for are the Sonic Mania guys making a PS2-ass platformer, a bored producer at Cygames trying to launder money and not-Konami making not-Goemon

yeah, and that first dungeon is way overlong and trains you for a stealth mechanic that is barely relevant for the rest of the game, iirc, and various other problems, but it has some moments and flourishes and, as the kids say, “vibes” that just hit too good for me to hate the game

I don’t totally hate the look of Wonder Bros., but I will assume every new feature or character they add to any Mario game going forward is already in a movie sequel script / napkin in Illumination’s cafeteria.
new mario game looks great (it’s me, that basic B), if it’s a little more inventive and creative than/plays like New Super Mario Bros Wii U (a Very Good 2D Mario Game), then i’m set. they gave him another drug to be The Elephant Man, what’s not to love
kind of wish they would just put the original Mario RPG on the SNES online app but i’ll also take this, love the squat little mario man
