it is! it’s a fantastic little diablo-via-falcom sort of thing w/ some strong proto-souls story and mechanical elements. lovely music. sorely overlooked and highly recommended!

seconding xanadu next being fucking awesome, its one of the many weird underrated falcom games that quietly got released in english for the first time on steam a few years ago. the other one i really want people to play is zwei: the arges adventure because it’s CUTE and has a bunch of silly desktop apps tied in with the game like Typing with Ys!!! and a mini adventure game starring your pet from the game. it’s great!
