Vermintide 2 is in that kind of weird space where it almost comes off as a game between console generations, but it does a good job of being occasionally striking by sticking to Warhammer Fantasy’s (RIP) cute buildings and lighting effects

Also the little hub with random weather/time of day and rooms for all the characters that are open at different times is super charming
