seems like the only way for us AMD suckers is to use the Windows Gaming Bar
I actually swore out loud when the fog broke and revealed this area. 5 seconds previously all you could see was a somewhat distant wall of grey fog and rain.

@SUPERSONNICK mentioned toca touring car championship, and i remembered the wide array of totally pointless cheats it had
play as a tank (with working gun), also the cartoony background is from a cheat
a dense fog that randomly cycles through bright colours
a secret track called lavaland
it’s hard to make out, but this is “raining cats and dogs” mode
the completely unplayable micro machines mode
“starry sky” mode

no unfortunately, you just can’t jump. i love that shot and that line though, it’s one of my favorite small details in the game and represents so much of its charm (laconic, enigmatic, sublime, blunt)

Yeah the jump shortcut in Mantra HQ is always available I think.
That last screen comes from the Obelisk. It’s a seemingly useless door to nowhere that becomes the main entrance once the Tower of Kagatsuchi pushes the obelisk underground
