nothing taped yet because setting up mics even close to properly is kind of a faff i haven’t felt like
but the next chapter is all the way on, turning this pile of nasty old pbass knockoff bits
into a shortscale-but-way-long fretless rumbler in a classic pink
but then i was looking at fancy cadillacs and thought actually, maybe this goes the other side of the colourwheel, and i rip off vigier with a shiny metal fretboard too while i’m at it
in either case, turnaround should be mere months. probably

turns out i cannot without going through the veneer, so it’s going to have to come off and go from .2mm to .4mm
for the moment though, pickup position rigging and testing
if it’s not subby enough like this, i’ll have to move the bridge back some after all
