i admit i haven’t read this yet but i skimmed part of the most recent part and it seems really interesting.
He’s a good writer, I’ve shared some of his articles grouped as world building to get people better into a mindset of the transactional nature of ancient religions and true belief – getting out of a secular mindset seems to be one of the hardest leaps for modern office professionals.
His breakdowns of the battle scenes in the LotR films are delightful, even if he still likes the movies (he also constantly points out where the movies deviate from the books, which he points out are very solid in their battles and associated logistics).
