the jaguar cd has the Jeff minter visualizer for CDS I think

I have good memories playing around with the cd music visualizer on my 3do in the 90s. it was the panasonic fz-10 model (top loader) if that matters.
my first cd player was a mega cd
same, and this was the only music cd i owned
Xbox (original) and 360 had the ability to rip CDs to the hard drive and then have games access the music as well. 360 had a jeff minter visualizer too. When I saw the (2022) short Anti-Cosmos it reminded me of the 360 visualizer but tbh i thought the visualizer was superior. the short suffered from the comparison.
my favorite thing about the xbox 360 was i could just connect it to my computer and play all the mp3s from my comptuer on my xbox instead of any stupid fucking 2000s videogame soundtrack
space giraffe is 10x better with your own energetic music that youre super familar with. it hink its even recommended in the game to do this? but jeff minter might have just mentioned it somewhere

So there were Enhanced CDs that would launch quicktime when you put them in your computer to play some incomprehensibly condensed music videos. But did they make any enhanced music CDs that specifically worked on consoles?
No but the following could play VCDs
The PS3 can also rip CDs and used to automatically get track information but the servers for that are gone now.
