A classic in the genre of Dilbert-But-Good

The problem is that I Think You Should Leave has too many bangers, and it feels redundant to post them.

To a lesser extent Mr. Show has the same problem.

I literally have to pull this out every other year for some bullshit or another. It’s evergreen.

is this a shoot?
was that kramer?

the crowd are insane, also

it’s from Fridays which also featured Larry David and briefly gave SNL a run for its money when that show was on the ropes. haven’t seen a lot of the show (apparently Kramer had something in his contract saying it couldn’t be released on home video for years??) but what I have seen uh, not great but I like that one. there are conflicting stories about how many people were in on how off the rails Kaufman was gonna go with it

The best to ever do it.

I regularly start laughing in the middle of the day at the thought of the live audience being forced to watch Tales of Fraud and Malfeaceance in Railroad Hiring Practices.

hey it’s that one gif

A Jack Handey classic!

Jack Handey has to be the best performing writing on SNL ever. They’ve had lots of really talented comedy writers that were great outside of the show, and some that managed to get some good stuff on. But Handey was like 100% hitters.

Damn, I never realized there was a sequel/prequel(?) monologue!

Surprisingly good modern SNL sketches (and one overlooked classic from the Farrell era):
