i am unsure of exactly how the genre distinctions break down but there was a bunch of interesting stuff coming out of the wavevision label and wave music more generally that felt spiritually connected to the more emotional classic dubstep stuff

unfortunately it seems like the current wavevision stuff is just mid lofi house

idk if this counts but this album was pretty exciting to me at the time

i also remember feeling elucidated by this one. have you seen it yet?

this playlist cropped up when i searched for the former too. completely unvetted
