Suki’s visit to the dermatologist for an ear infection/inflammation issue. she really doesn’t enjoy this stuff, but she’s a good girl and never puts up a fight or anything.
really hoping the treatment they’ve devised will be able to help her, because the worst-case scenario (a CT scan and potentially surgery on the middle ear area) would cost between $8,000 to $10,000 which means we would simply not be able to do anything.
really wishing we’d gotten her pet insurance, but for a long while i’d been operating under the assumption that stuff didn’t really work. but I guess a lot has changed over the past 20 years.
