take both of them
A small part of me…
two cats are, quite simply, better than one. they will be happier, and so will you!
no shame if you can only handle one though. i was very reluctant to join the 2 cats club until it was a matter of literal life and death (for the cat)
i am also in the Two Cats Club, though it is certainly also the More Expensive Cats Club.
We almost got just the one cat but we couldn’t deal with breaking up the litter, and it was such a good decision in the end. They’re best buds (when they’re not fighting) and keep each other company. Love 'em.
almost lost our cats today - a door blew open and I didn’t notice at all, alicia came down probably 10-15 minutes later. No cats in sight.
One ran immediately inside from around the corner upon hearing Alicia’s voice. Other cat was…gone? No idea where tf he got to, searched all around outside the house. Alicia was about to start investigating neighbor’s yards when he comes out of nowhere and hides under the deck. I think he was hiding in a shrub then got scared by a loud noise.
Both cats are safe (whew), they are both indoor cats so not prepared for the outside world in any way. I’m certain they would be…okay…maybe…i’d be most afraid of them getting spooked by a noise and jumping underneath a moving car.
i really miss having two but i don’t feel like making the lad put up with a noob
my elder cat loves to bully her little brother and he doesn’t min, she turned out to have these strong maternal instincts but seems constantly annoyed about it
very positive experience overall
i watched kedi over the weekend 10/10 good tourism video
Update: Visited again and of the two decided on the left one almost entirely because after playing it fell asleep in my lap on both occasions. I THINK I’m going to let it be the only one but…
3 weeks until I can take it home. I gotta make a shopping list…
congrats on new cat! cant wait for the flood of pictures
i stopped scrolling because i thought it was @jsnlv and @familyjules cat
What a cutie! Those eyes seem brighter, though, and the tipped ear is a pretty big giveaway. Here’s what John’s up to today:
Crossed blue eyes are a trait from Siamese cat breeds, but I’m pretty sure John (and this fellow as well) is some variety of mix.

@jsnlv I think John appears to be some sort of mix between colorpoint shorthair and siamese! I might be completely wrong though
I think he was called flame point earlier in this thread? In any event, I’m in the John fan club!
he’s a sausage
