Murder by the Book is also one of Steven Spielberg’s first directing gigs, and when interviewed the actors were like “he was doing these long wide shots and mood setting and it was so cool and weird!” and I think about that a lot.

greg miller wrote a op ed for newsweek about how video games are good and not violent and it’s bad and i refuse to link it
I have no idea who Greg Miller is but yeah this article sucks.
On the one hand, Nintendo made games that anyone can play, even children. On the other, Infinity Ward created an AI to see if you were justified in shooting a baby in the face with an assault rifle. Videogames truly are a land of contrasts.

yeah I’ve been calling him Dumb Cop for years
of the number of times he has identified a situation needing intervention and actually made things better rather than worse he has like a 20% success rate
