Murder by the Book is also one of Steven Spielberg’s first directing gigs, and when interviewed the actors were like “he was doing these long wide shots and mood setting and it was so cool and weird!” and I think about that a lot.
greg miller wrote a op ed for newsweek about how video games are good and not violent and it’s bad and i refuse to link it
I have no idea who Greg Miller is but yeah this article sucks.
On the one hand, Nintendo made games that anyone can play, even children. On the other, Infinity Ward created an AI to see if you were justified in shooting a baby in the face with an assault rifle. Videogames truly are a land of contrasts.
former ign, now ~influencer~ who runs a team of people
my dog is part shepherd / collie and part lab / boxer which means he likes enforcing rules except he doesn’t know what they are and he has terrible judgment
Sounds like the typical cop’s grasp of the law to me, man
yeah I’ve been calling him Dumb Cop for years

Columbo, the filmmaking at times was very good
Today I took a sick day and watched Patlabor, Columbo, and Sabu & Ichi
I don’t know if anyone here dug Electronic Super Joy, but a sequel came out today and is free because why not I guess?
I am generally a fan of minimalistic 2d platformers and thought the first one was a good time, so hey.
I’ve been meaning to get the previous game by Surt, Das Geisterschiff
