in a just world all these game passes would get people really into libraries and we’d donate all our possessions and just check out whatever media we needed when we wanted to experience it
the only reason i ever buy anything is so i can loan it to people whod really like it anyway
like my fucking wall of games is ugly as hell, i woudlnt mind only having 1-2 games in my house at a time so i could have room for art or useful furniture

I just try to think of these games-as-services like renting in the 90’s. But you rent for a month, instead of a weekend. And its overall cheaper.

It has a crazy review embargo that was originally set for two days after it came out but has now been moved to release date(?) tomorrow. Not a great sign but hey
Weird, but I just saw it for sale in EB so I guess release date must be today at least over here. Unless some naughty salesperson is jumping the gun
EB has this gross practice of putting out display cases for games that aren’t out yet. Presumably to try and trick people to pre-order.
This EB is right next to two other stores that sell the same products for $10+ cheaper, so this kind of trickery is probably the only thing they have left
