Blizzard TF2

Now I am sold on playing this game. Iron sights are a terrible non innovation in shooters

That’s nice, dear.

Anyway, Mei is amazing. She can do anything. She has an icethrower that freezes enemies. She can snipe icicles. She can freeze herself to become invulnerable and heal. She can block off areas with walls of ice and also use one underneath her to get a lift. She can disable a whole area with freezes.

Will the full game disallow playing the same hero as someone else on the team? I would like that.

In one game tonight we ran against an army of soilder 76s. I don’t know what the answer to that is, but damn that sucked.

Oh, every time I’ve played as/against a monoteam, the opposing team countered them super hard and they/we gave up. That said, I can see how that one would be a bit more difficult.

Go into Weekly Brawl. Our entire team picks Lucio for a laugh

They all spawned as Lucio as the map starts

Except for me, I got D.Va

:frowning:

This game has like no aim assist on console.

I LOVE IT

I might buy this but I’m concerned there’s not enough checklists to grind for camo unlocks that I won’t use

TOO MANY GAMES

No, there’s aim assist, but it’s very, very slight. It’s really elegant compared to the assist I’ve seen in other games (Battleborn being the most egregious, having seen my camera whip 90 degrees because someone ran through my FOV)

Also, did you not see all the damn unlocks characters have and that you get them from loot boxes that you get for leveling and the game has no level cap and you can get dupes and

The Skinner box is strong with this game, let me assure you

weird, I just wanted to play because it was fun and I wanted to get better.

Is that not how people look at games anymore?

You just get those by playing, though. Doesn’t have the checklist grinds of BOIII that I’ve nearly all done like getting 100 headshots with every gun and then 50 kills with five attachments and 50 kills without attachments and 10 longshots and 5 bloodthirsties and

I’m being facetious people, gosh

This game does feel a bit hollow without a full-mic group and my game-social life already revolves around Paragon, so, hmmm.

we’ll be there for yooooooooooooooooooou

in dicsord too…

ba dum dum dum de duuuum

SB friends is filmed in front my shut eye lids while I’m tripping on a lack of sleep.

Ok this game’s not bad but I had 25 kills and 0 deaths on my first foray into a pub match. Played as the TF2 Soldier one.

Granted this is anecdotal and probably just luck of the draw getting matched up against people presumably unfamiliar with video games, but still.

I could play people who have never played a video game before and the chances of me going 25-0 in any game ever made are about zero percent

Bummer that the Highlights aren’t saved and aren’t all-time. It’d be cool to just have My Five Best Plays Ever on a screen and try to outdo them.

I am a bit bothered by how non-uniform the kit complexity is among heroes! In every MOBA you generally get the same amount of abilities on each hero, but a lot of heroes here don’t even have an alt-fire so my L2 goes unused, which is weird! Is the right mouse button correspondingly blank on PC in these cases too?

I think right mouse doubles your shift ability if the champ doesn’t have an alt fire

The other team would all rush out of their spawn at the same time, clustered as a group, and get eliminated in under 5 seconds. Then they would repeat this, over and over, until the match was over. It was bizarre.

Some bullshit that I’m ostensibly paying more for goodies in other Blizzard PC games I don’t own or care about, and some skins, when really they just know us console gamers are down to plop 60 on any fresh box.

Paragon is a F2P MOBA in paid Early Access right now for $20, but they’re doing a $60 PS4 disc release in June while the game is still in closed Beta, a few months before it becomes free. It comes with a $60 currency card for skins and boosts and shit so the only sane way to buy it is to copy the code and throw the box and coaster away in the store. It’s confounding.

I’ve never seen offense win anything in this game

everyone just picks offense champs and tries to duel people while getting gutted by the three enemy turrets sitting there afk

this game is just not fun

I think it’s ok. I kind of wish that pre-hat team fortress 2 was still around and hugely popular though (actually some of the post-hat pre-freemium tf2 content was good too but still)

ok, yeah, this chick is busted. first time I actually felt like I was doing something.
