Is anyone watching Blade Runner: Black Lotus? The first two episodes did not really light me on fire and the whole thing is kind of too dark visually, just hard to make out what I’m looking at sometimes, but the action bits were good.
I’ll probably keep watching for a while to see how it develops since they only just started introducing what I’m assuming are the antagonists in the second episode but I hope there is more to it than just a surface level revenge story.

Wow, that was always gonna look and feel barebones and likely has like a twentieth of the budget ,if that, but it’s hard being watched after Arcane in terms of looks, animation, direction… everything.
if you’re not going to touch up the movement so that it doesn’t look like a stage play, maybe you should have just made a stage play.
