I don’t know how BG3 will handle this but 5e has extremely broken scaling (around level 10, you should only make combat encounters that rate at least a ‘deadly’ otherwise it’ll be extremely easy, even then it will only rarely be a challenge for the players, even playing far from optimally)

I thought they were all interesting and totally worth it. We did pick the coolest four characters though (can’t speak to boring assassin man or pirate dwarf) so maybe that has something to do with it. Lohse’s final battle gave us the best tactical fight yet, right near the end of the game! We had to pull some real big brain shit to get out of that one
i guess i’m gonna play fire engine barbarian lady. it better be worth sacrificing some highly dumb non functional OC multiclass, like a ninja monk necro druid hybrid who worships the mushroom god or whatever

anyway I just got a sex scene like 3 hours into this so we are so back
anyway with OS2 you only ever had 4 characters so it was a waste to not make one of them an origin character. in this case using an origin character as your MC is just one less character

The controller controls aren’t mind blowingly smooth but they’re functional. The radial menus remind me of NWN, they work a lot better with a controller than a mouse
Shove being a bonus action is very funny
I rolled up a barbarian gnome so I have this extra bonus action lying around all the time, why not shove an intellect devourer into fire every six seconds
Excited to see how far they push the environmental stuff, considering switching to Tactician
I thought my old ass cpu and middling gpu would really struggle but with FSR on the framerate is totally acceptable at 4k and it looks very pretty in places where they really invested in the modeling, I stared at the heads of the metallic dragonborn in the character creator for a while
If you have it output in surround it mixes the narrator’s voice to come from above which made me laugh when I noticed it

If I had this game i’d make a gith with a big dick (tulpa told me they have the biggest looking dicks) because that’s what is important in games like this. so im glad to see the gith premade character owns

i’m playing diesel heart fire barbarian lady and armor doesn’t do anything for me so I walk around FULLY NUDE and NO ONE CAN STOP ME
I’m not finding it too challenging so far on tactician, I think you’re probably good to go

also I’m not familiar with 5e at all, what are some good multiclass builds? especially for cleric / fighter / wizard since I’m using shadowheart, lae’zel, and gale. my half elf swords bard MC is extremely great so far so I’m glad I didn’t screw her up, I thought I was gonna have to take some paladin levels or something
