bad games, good music

If you’re only going to have basically one song, may as well make it rad as fuck.

i am still trying to appreciate this game because the ost is so goddamn savage lol

this game is BAD??? i’m just learning about this!!

thumbnails aside

i don’t remember it blowing me away besides the OST (and at one point having the Last Dreamcast Game crown.) i guess it’s more “just ok” than bad

I’m deeply sorry that I have to nominate Chrono Cross for this thread. But yeah, the game was really boring and I couldn’t get very far in it, whereas I’ll listen to the soundtrack until the day I die. I wish the game was One Of The Best RPGs Ever

rollin on the tim follin train, plok is a fucking awful game but listen to this music, i’ve had it crystallized in my brain since i was like 10. i can recall this entire soundtrack from memory at any time, one of my few gifts:

otto’s ottifanten: baby bruno’s nightmare (an isometric game boy platformer, yes as bad as it sounds) by Alberto Gonzalez has a couple of killer songs, but the main menu in particular is a masterpiece:

Alberto Gonzalez tends to fall in the Tim Follin trap as well, the games are bad but the music…so good…

(actually i dunno, i assume this game is bad but i have never played a smurfs game)

lol I remember the Ottifanten games. There was one on Mega Drive too. Otto is a German comedian and when he was at the height of his popularity there was this cartoon on TV. Ottifant is a play on elephant

Just some uninteresting Game Facts for y’all

And yeah, that song rules

that track from The Smurfs for the NES is up there as one of my favorite all-time tracks in a videogame… and it’s random licensed game i’ve never played.

well if we can call chrono cross bad then that allows me to cast a pretty wide net.

Haha well, technically I didn’t call it bad, just boring and with an unfortunate game to soundtrack quality ratio! I don’t think Chrono Cross is bad or kusoge, just that the soundtrack is stellar and way better than the game

Like the soundtrack is one of the best ever and the RPG isn’t one of the best ever
