There’s so much attention to little details in the game. When you swing your net at the edge of water, your follow-through actually causes it to dip down into the water, it doesn’t just stop at land-level. When your fishing lure is dragged off a waterfall by currents, it gets pulled under before the very edge and resurfaces like a second later at the bottom, instead of just rolling over the top. The way the wind blows the leaves. I love it

haven’t started yet because i can’t really concentrate on anything at the moment
are switch friend codes per account or per game (lol) like they were on 3ds or whatever it was
per account, but they still havent caught up with usernames so you have to add peoples 12 digit numbercodes

You can get a cat tower and litter box (oh, and a lucky cat statue). I have a cat resident but not getting my hopes up for contextual dialogue

Labor doubles the value of a product! The example I found this with was:
three woods go for 60, but the wooden block toy (made with 3 soft wood which would have a value of 180) sells for 360. If its the hot item it doubles again beyond that.
I have not checked if DiYs with fruits, like the furniture, will double on top of the increased price from selling on other islands, but that’ll be my next test, enlisting the assistance of my roommate.
Anyway obviously chopping trees is not the way to get your bread but if you need to clean out your storage (which I did) then its worth it to craft them into things if you already have them. I made some fat stacks off of it

What if the thing you’re crafting has intermediate crafting steps, like soft wood->wood blocks->block table (or whatever it’s called)?
Tested that and it’s just doubling raw materials. So the Block table, which takes wood blocks and I think 5 more soft wood, sells for double the price of 8 soft wood, rather than double the price of wood blocks and 5 wood
