I got this for christmas, having played a good bit of splatoon 1 when it came out and a little of 2 and 3. Decided to go with motion controls and it’s definitely taking time to get used to. Started well, but I think I started overthinking it, like forgetting to use the right stick to turn with the gyro. But I can see the potential so I’m going to keep with it.
Came so close to ranking up out of C+, had 2 wins, then lost 3 in a row. Feels like I get a lot of streaky runs like that.
I mostly stick to the splattershots and Nzap since they’re simple to pick up. The splatanas look cool, so might give those a go
