I ran into the weird youtube guy 'cause I had already made my bad decision and was reacquainting myself with the round (I sold my old 10mm some time ago).
Why a 1911 in 10mm instead of something you don’t already have five of
Capacity and weight and $$$.
Most 10mm offerings shade into the expensive side of things, which reduced my options.
Of the more budget-friendly brands I was basically looking at one of these or a tanfoglio or a glock. My hands don’t want to shoot 10mm out of anything but a steel frame, so a glock is out. It’s impossible to find tanfoglio’s in anything but polymer near me, so they’re out too (despite them slotting into my fetish for CZs and clones of CZs).
This 1911 was (relatively) cheap + nice and heavy + it’s a weird mutant double stack so I don’t have to reload as much which = more pleasant range times.
Also I haven’t had a 1911 in some time! And the last one I had was a 9mm! (I eventually gave it to a friend!) John Moses Browning spins in his etc., etc.
Yeah I thought that looked like a double stack. Ye of the Huge Hands

I used a screenshot of a mod that gave the ice trolls dicks for my abdn review of skyrim
There’s always a mod to add dicks to a bethesda game.
