Watched the recaps of the MYST-block and PJ in MM7 so far, and that scooter trash game. Kinda looking forward to the runs mentioned above, and what else will come along!

My favorite this time is the Final Fantasy 6 “New Game +” run. I always love glitch-filled deconstructions and this one is a new FF6-specific method – forcing timer-based scripts to go on indefinitely outside of the intended room – which gives it a fresh flavor. You can see the logic of the game scripts going wrong playing out on screen (instead of the runners simply doing mysterious actions and then warping to credits), and the couch explains it very well. The party of 1 regular Terra and 7 blonde Terras is classic.

Loved the Animorphs run of the Bad Games Block, and this interview with the Mega Man speedrunners right before it.
The Mario Maker relay run was incredible.

- right now watching SONIC 2k6 Silver’s story run, quite broken/entertaining so far.
- Tron was a bit underwhelming, would have rather seen the faster version.
- Amid Evil - didn’t even know that existed, devs phoned in and took their baby being destroyed with stride, kudos to them.
- Sonic block: up next!

The Pump It Up! speedrun going on right now is one of the most insane things I’ve ever seen on GDQ. This poor bastard. Legit worried he’s gonna die.
