There will never be more than one good PREDATOR + one middling vehicle for Danny Glover’s enormous pants vs. PREDATOR.

Having seen this in theaters a couple times, getting up and moving during the intermission is critical. Hopefully if they’re rolling this out to multiplexes they retain that.

New Michael Bay.

Daniel Trachtenberg is making a sequel to the original Predator and calling it Prey.

It’s set in the Comanche nation 300 years ago.

It stars Amber Midthunder as a Comanche warrior who fights the Predator with a bow and arrow and skill and cunning and stuff.

It’s a cool concept and that is a neat image but I just…

I don’t know, you know? 10 Cloverfield Lane was really good. That first episode of The Boys he directed was good. I don’t remember seeing the Black Mirror episode he directed. Haven’t seen any of his short films. All I got are those two things to go on.

It can’t be any worse than The Predator, right?

Shit for 30 years I’ve been going around calling the original movie “The Predator” not realizing I was getting it wrong

Another Predator

Clearly being a prequel you pronounce it like a Filipino guy I knew did: The Pre-date-or.

the final boss will be gritty or a gritty analogue

what is the point of a remake of a movie where the only reason any one watched it is the incredible fight choreography? Do they think they’re going to have better fights? I mean, I get it when South Asian film studios do action movie remakes since they have their own flavors of action spectacle (That I love) but Gareth Evans? Ugh.
