The new Ghosts & Goblins from a couple years back is really solid; I wasn’t sold on the high-detail puppet art at first but it did become beautiful after a bit (and the game restructures itself enough to help the player learn it without compromising the platforming).
I don’t know if I could describe the difference between good and bad 2D puppeteering styles but there’s a line somewhere.
the most bang on thing I’ve read recently about AI stuff is someone yelling about how we’re sold on AI and automation to remove on the menial tasks from life and the first thing corporations do is go for the arts
That would be RAD, if they released both games without fxxing up the port.
otoh, the tin-can dub of the first one would benefit from an overhaul … so if they have to, then fix that
