duke nukem was the horny doctor from grey’s anatomy this whole time?
There is now evidence that the person behind this pitch is… the writer of Food Fight.
duke 3d reloaded leaked, if you want a really greebly ue3 duke 3d prototype by the rott 2013 folks (it’s mp only though)
Keep in mind this is a different game than recently announced Crime Boss: Rockay City. A game so mechanically similar that I’d expect to see it released on a disc as an unofficial mission pack for Payday 2.
At least rockay city has shown us more “gameplay” footage than payday 3. considering overkill is like incapable of not running some kind of shitty scheme for 10+ years i have a hard time believing payday 3 is even a real game, or that it will play like a modern game at all, I’m half expecting it to be like a shitty open world game from the mid 2010s because they haven’t released a successful game since 2013. the 10 chambers collective heist game i think has the best chance of being a legit successor to payday 2, since it’s actually by ex-payday devs and the tragedy of ulf andersson having to return to heist games because his lout and fool brother wanted to be the “elon musk of VR games” and destroyed their legacy is very classical
I heard these guys give the identical anecdote that Payday was forever at three successive parties in the years leading up to Starbreeze’s long, drawn-out bankruptcy. I don’t see why anyone would have changed their minds yet.
Remake???
didn’t they already remake it?
The AAA industry really sucks lol
sheesh at this rate the PS6 is going to have the same library as the PS5
unconscionable
look, no one remembers what happened 6 years ago
hell, by the time Horizon came out, everyone forgot Gravity Rush 2 came out a month before
It got a PS5 patch so it runs at 60fps with PS4 Pro graphics, so this seems completely unnecessary
it was the first thing I really sat down and played on my PS5 and it looks incredible, indistinguishable from most current-gen games. incredibly fucking silly to remake it. are they doing this just to make the last of us remake seem less stupid? because it’s working that seems downright prudent now.
Over on cohost, @hellojed linked this article that made a lot of sense w/r/t the impetus to remake what are practically current-gen games:
I wonder if Sony is just going to make re-makes of everything they’re making TV shows for so they can launch at roughly the same time. I feel like the only thing they could possibly do to make any of that interesting it is to give those games PSVR2 support. I would love to see third person VR games more normalized, and god knows the PSVR2 needs some actual reasons to exist.
which has the same library as the PS4
PS4 4 eva \o/
