Look either I’ll be nonplussed by the silent hill one, or they’ll somehow manage to go lower which itself would be hilarious at this point.

I think they’ll eventually re-hire Sam Barlow and his new studio partners but after one more release cycle
I psychically cannot withstand the actual existence of a blupper team silent hill. this week is just a count down until scanners explode my head.

this is definitely the closest looking thing to f-zero x that i’ve seen, but honestly i’ve been fooled before and this has a March 2024 release date in Kickstarter, so it’s got a long way to go before being a Game

what would be really cool is like a modern AAA-prestige remake of SH4. of course, it would probably be bad.
that said I think bloober team would be capable of p good things if you kept all the artists and fired all the writers and designers.

Based on my experience with VO recording, the story in the bloomberg article feels more plausible to me for a game like this
