Nice.
Someone (Giant Bomb?) asked Phil Spencer about bringing the x360 emulator to windows and he said it was a different target altogether, but I hope they get it done eventually. Xenia is getting there, just slower than RPCS3.

Oh, this is wildly unintuitive, but 360 BC on Xbox is the best way to play MGS 2 and 3 in terms of performance. Holds the 60 FPS target the HD ports can’t really hit. Turns out MGS3 only uses slow motion occasionally.
actually the best way to play those games is running the 360 hd remasters in back compat on xbox series consoles, it’s really really smooth and fast, esp 2
I think there’s no One X or Series enhancement but the One X and Series versions get 16x texture filtering which makes MGS2 gorge
(I only have an X.B.O.X. and it’s smooth except for cutscenes with 3+ characters in frame.)
load times are improved on series consoles, they’re now standard for speedrunning the hd versions
Ah, fair, fair.
So that press demo of the cancelled Dreamcast Castlevania game? It’s on ebay.
Seller is also selling a lego kit, and some blurays. I wonder if he’ll offer combined shipping.
So I have had this for 20 years and completely forgot about it despite being a HUGE Castlevania fan. This is probably the only playable disc of this game in existence and, as far as I am concerned, is priceless for any Dreamcast or Castlevania fan. […] I have no idea what it’s worth, as it’s priceless to me, so I’ll let the world decide it’s value.
This guy can go fuck himself.
I’ve been waiting for this, the only thing that’s made me kind of wish I had a Nintendo Switch. I would prefer PS4, though. Maybe if I hold out a little longer.

o it’s based on a Dreams thing! i was wondering how it managed to have some authentically mangled feeling hobbyist energy.
Dreams felt like kind of a wasted opportunity to me as a closed platform contained within another closed platform so glad whatever was happening on there is starting to leak out, similar to all the Unity games that turn out to just be hi-res reconstructions of custom Roblox scenarios
