10,000 Bulletins: No One Can Stop the Presses! (Part 1)

The PS5 version kinda looks like he’s had a facelift to make him look younger?
Which is funny because the actor is like, mid 40s, but the character is supposed to be like 35 and dates girls 19 years and younger

Wow they could not transfer over all the shaders they used. It’s a very shader heavy game!

Is there like a UE3 to UE4 pipeline they’re putting this through before slathering on lighting effects?

yeah mass effect absolutely deserves to look like an over-CGI’d canadian cable scifi show, and i say that as a fan

Oh yeah, wow, totally. Maybe this explains one of the reasons Bioware stuff falls flat with me; it’s the Mentos effect, in how those old ads always looked like my world, but just off enough to feel weird (iirc, it’s because the Mentos ads were made in Australia?). It’s not just in the graphics (it’s definitely in the writing) but yeah.

Mass Effect 100% has that aura of all the SciFi channel shows that were made in other English spekaing countries that get aired over in the US like a year after they start. And it never stops feeling off for me.

holy whaaaaaaa

Checked the video of the Dam level to make sure the player took a longing glance at the mysterious island across the water as god intended, was pleased to see that they did.

just sat down with this. the coolest thing is that you can toggle between n64 textures/resolution and the remastered textures/HD mode with the right button

(the n64 version looks way way better imo)

is it just emulating the n64? if not, it seems to be doing the same weird fake anti-aliasing that the N64 did. I love it.
